A Proper old fashioned English Summer afternoon

Remember the Summer? It seems a long time ago now so I thought a reminder was overdue.

Claygate hosted their annual flower show this weekend and a quick visit was well worth it. As well as a marquee full of delightful blooms and vegetables of all shapes and sizes, there were some excellent entries in the photographic section. So nice to see so many entries by young people, photography really is something that appeals across all ages. Some lovely vintage cars and motorbikes on show, including several Rolls Royces.

This beautiful art deco style bonnet mascot is adorning a triumph of all things. Another photo opportunity I couldnt pass up ! I love it - it looks like it should be on a Hispano-Suiza or something equally as exotic.
